Advanced Pet Diagnostics with Our In-House Laboratory

Through the use of our in-house lab, we are able to perform various testing and receive accurate results more quickly so we can create a customized treatment plan for your pet. Our laboratory testing capabilities include:

  • Complete blood count
  • Blood chemistry test
  • Urine testing
  • Electrolyte tests
  • SNAP tests
  • Coagulation tests
  • Microscopic evaluation

While many of these tests can be performed in-house, we may also send out samples to an outside laboratory if we do not have the ability to perform a specific test or if the results are not needed promptly to create a treatment plan.

Digital X-rays (Radiology) and Cardiology

Digital X-rays provide our team with a clear view of your pet’s bones, abdomen, and lungs, helping us identify issues such as foreign bodies and fractures. Cat and dog X-ray imaging often complements physical exams and other diagnostic services, offering a comprehensive understanding of your pet’s health. For a closer look at heart health, we also offer echocardiograms. We will bring in a cardiologist to conduct this test and work closely with your veterinarian to review the results, ensuring the best care for your pet.

Ultrasound

Ultrasound technology uses high frequency sound waves to create detailed images of your pet’s internal organs such as the abdomen or the heart. We use the information in these pet ultrasound images to supplement our findings from other tests or a physical exam to determine the most accurate diagnosis and target our treatment efforts to your companion’s specific condition. If we are able to provide a precise diagnosis, the sooner we can treat your pet’s condition and offer you peace of mind.
